5 NFL players who should compete at WrestleMania
2. Antonio Brown
Antonio Brown proved his ability to play the role of a big-time heel by forcing his way out of Pittsburgh. If he employed the same tactics with the WWE audience he could generate lots of heat in no time.
One requirement for Brown making the WrestleMania card would be for him to dye his mustache blonde again. That’s a move that can generate boos without Brown needing to open his mouth. The mere appearance of that strange look on the TitanTron would immediately cast the talented wideout as someone to be booed mercilessly.
Brown’s new coach could also get in on this act. The idea of Jon Gruden working as Brown’s valet could bring a ton of potential storylines into play. Gruden could even wear his headset to the ring as part of his look.
The challenge of coming up with Brown’s ideal opponent was a little tough. R-Truth was an intriguing idea because he could pose as Brown’s older alter ego. Ultimately, a match with Rey Mysterio seems like the best idea. That feud would allow Brown and Gruden to get the maximum amount of time on the microphone. The match would still end with Brown eating a 619, but he could get lots of verbal jabs in during the buildup.
