High Value C

Players costing $6,250 or under

Domantas Sabonis (at BOS – $6,200): Needs 29.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. Sabonis has been over 37 fantasy points in three of his last four games. As I mentioned earlier, this game could be pretty vanilla and I don’t know quite what to expect from these two teams. But I trust the Pacers more than the Celtics at this point, which is something I never thought I’d say all season. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Derrick Favors (vs WAS – $5,800): Needs 27.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31 fantasy points against LA Lakers. Even in limited minutes, this should be an easy night at the office for Favors. He’s proven that he can put up big numbers in limited minutes and now he gets to go up against the Wizards. Points and rebounds should not be a problem for him in this game and he should be over 30 fantasy points once again. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Steven Adams (vs DEN – $5,500): Needs 26.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 52 fantasy points against Indiana. Adams finally looked like himself in the last game against the Pacers but that’s probably a smokescreen because I’ve seen this before from the Thunder and Adams. Still, he remains at a good salary given his minutes and opportunities and if Paul George doesn’t play, he’ll see even more opportunities. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
