High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

Russell Westbrook (vs DEN – $10,700): Needs 51.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 59.25 fantasy points against Indiana. If Paul George doesn’t play, there’s going to be a lot of Russell Westbrook. I don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing on most nights but it can be a great thing. Or it can be the worst thing in the world. And the Nuggets always seem to give the Thunder problems. He’s a risk, but the reward is very high. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Kemba Walker (at LAL – $8,500): Needs 41.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 69.25 fantasy points against San Antonio. The Hornets aren’t good enough to blow anyone out and the Lakers are going to play LeBron, which always helps. All that leads up to big minutes for Kemba and he knows what he has to do to get the Hornets into the playoffs. He’ll continue to deliver big games because that’s just who he is. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Trae Young (vs POR – $8,300): Needs 40.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 57.75 fantasy points against New Orleans. Young has been over 55 fantasy points in his last two games and I’m not buying the Blazers defense without Nurkic just because they had a great game against the Bulls. Young has been exceptional since the break and he’ll continue to put up big numbers. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
