High Value C

Players costing $6,667 or under

Steven Adams (vs DEN – $6,500): Needs 28.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 52.9 fantasy points against Indiana. Adams is coming off a big game as the Thunder realized he still exists. The minutes and chances are always there for him, it’s just a matter of them getting him involved. If Paul George doesn’t play, Adams should see more opportunities. His salary remains good enough given his usual minutes. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Dewayne Dedmon (vs POR – $6,400): Needs 28.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.3 fantasy points against New Orleans. Dedmon continues to play well for the Hawks and things should be easy for him on Friday as the Blazers defense isn’t fixed thanks to a game against the Bulls. Dedmon should get the better of Kanter or whomever the Blazers trot out on Friday. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Willy Hernangomez (at LAL – $4,200): Needs 18.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18.3 fantasy points against San Antonio. You can always bet against the Lakers. And Hernangomez is getting good minutes and producing at a decent clip right now. He’s a nice low-cost option if you want to save money at this position and still get reliable production from a guy with a great matchup. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
