High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

Donovan Mitchell (vs WAS – $8,500): Needs 35.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 19.8 fantasy points against LA Lakers. Mitchell has been down in a big way in recent games but your only other option here is Bradley Beal, and while he’s probably more reliable, I don’t like the matchup for him and I don’t know how much he’ll care. Mitchell is at least in a position to care and he gets to go up against the Wizards. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

Klay Thompson (at MIN – $7,500): Needs 31.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 17.2 fantasy points against Memphis. Klay Thompson is missing shots and that’s hurting his value in a big way. But he’ll continue to get those shots and at some point, they have to go in, right? He had 40.6 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Mar. 19. The chances will continue to be there. It’s just a matter of the ball going in. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

Andrew Wiggins (vs GS – $6,700): Needs 28.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.1 fantasy points against LA Clippers. I’ll never trust Wiggins and you should never trust Wiggins. But he’s done well against the Warriors this season, averaging 34.1 fantasy points in three games, including a 39.6 fantasy point effort against them on Mar. 19. It’s Wiggins. That’s all I’ll say. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
