Green Bay Packers full 2019 NFL mock draft
By Conor Dorney
The signing of safety Adrian Amos was perhaps one of the more underrated additions of the NFL free agency period and now the Packers could look to pair him with another dynamic playmaker in the back of their defense.
Delaware’s Nasir Adderley may not have the name recognition of some of his peers in this safety class, but he’s certainly a legitimate NFL prospect and should hear his name called in the first 50 picks on draft day.
Adderley has the range and playmaking ability that defenses covet in today’s NFL game, including some ability to handle special teams return duty. He helped his stock a great deal at the Senior Bowl, where he proved that he belonged on the field with many of the other top prospects in attendance.
Adderley also happens to have a Packers connection as the cousin of the great Herb Adderley, who was a star defensive back for Green Bay from 1961-69. Adding another Adderley to the fold would be a great story for a player that could look to make his own legacy for the organization.
