2. WWE can’t let too many faces win

One of the things fans often overlook when they’re trying to predict WrestleMania winners and losers is the company’s need to balance the card. WWE officials want fans to go home from the event happy, but that doesn’t mean every face on the card is going to win their respective matches.

It’s widely believed that Becky Lynch is going to win the main event. She’s not a prototypical face, but she’s immensely popular with the crowd. Count that as one major face who will almost certainly emerge with a victory.

There’s also a very strong chance that Kofi Kingston will defeat Daniel Bryan. That would give WrestleMania with two faces winning two of the largest matches on the card. Simply put, the WWE will need to give some heels wins to help balance out the card.

The Joe-Mysterio match is an easy opportunity for the company to give a villain a solid victory. Mysterio’s reputation is already well established and no one will bat an eye if he loses. Joe needs to get the win here to help make sure the crowd doesn’t see too many happy moments before the main event(s).
