DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 30, 2019
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,250
Damian Lillard (at DET – $10,100): Needs 48.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 53.25 fantasy points against Atlanta. It’s a back-to-back for the Blazers but they are still trying hard as they are playing for seeding. And Lillard is going to bring it on most nights. Injuries limit your high salary choices across the board on Saturday and few players have a ceiling as high as Lillard. It’s a big salary commitment and I’m not totally in love with him. But a big game is not out of the question. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
Ben Simmons (at MIN – $8,400): Needs 39.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.5 fantasy points against Brooklyn. No Joel Embiid should mean a lot more from Ben Simmons. He had 55.25 fantasy points in 26 minutes against the Timberwolves on Jan. 15. And the Timberwolves are on a back-to-back. And the Timberwolves just aren’t very good. I love this game for Simmons on Saturday. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Mike Conley (at PHO – $7,600): Needs 36.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.75 fantasy points against Golden State. Conley has been slightly down in his last two games but now he gets to go up against the Suns. Even in limited minutes, Conley should do plenty in this game to at least get you value. Neither team is good but Conley is the best player on the floor. Sorry, Devin Booker. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
