High Value SF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Thaddeus Young (vs ORL – $5,300): Needs 24.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.75 fantasy points against Boston. It’s a back-to-back for the Pacers and Young has been a bit hit-and-miss as of late. He’s been over 30 fantasy points in all three games against the Magic this season and is averaging 35.8 fantasy points against them. He’s at a good salary given his minutes and opportunities. Even on the back-to-back, this looks to be his matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Dion Waiters (at NY – $5,200): Needs 24.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22 fantasy points against Dallas. With all the injuries to the Miami guards, someone has to get these numbers for the Heat. And Waiters has proven that he can put up numbers. The minutes and opportunities will be there and it’s the Knicks. You can typically count on guys to get numbers against the Knicks. Even if his minutes are limited, Waiters will deliver. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Jonathan Isaac (at IND – $5,000): Needs 22.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23 fantasy points against Detroit. Isaac has bounced back after a rough outing a week ago against the Sixers. The Pacers are on a back-to-back and Isaac continues to get good minutes and finds ways to contribute. He’s always a low-end double-double threat and can put up decent numbers in all categories. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
