FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 30, 2019
High Salary C
Players costing over $6,667
Karl-Anthony Towns (vs PHI – $11,400): Needs 50 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 39.1 fantasy points against Golden State. It’s a back-to-back for the Timberwolves but with no Embiid in the lineup, Towns should be easy money for the Timberwolves. While I worry about Wiggins and his ability to step up in the face of Jimmy Butler, I don’t worry about Towns. He’ll do what he can for the Minnesota crowd and again, with no Embiid making his life miserable, he should be in for a strong outing. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Andre Drummond (vs POR – $10,300): Needs 45.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 63.6 fantasy points against Orlando. Drummond is coming off a big game against the Magic and even though he had just 39.7 fantasy points against the Blazers on Mar. 23, don’t be too worried about that game. With Nurkic out of the lineup, Drummond will have a much easier time in the paint and on the boards. I’m expecting a big game out of Drummond on Saturday. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Myles Turner (vs ORL – $8,100): Needs 35.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.2 fantasy points against Boston. Turner is playing very well right now and even though he hasn’t had a huge outing against the Magic this season, I have a sneaky good feeling about him on Saturday. If Valanciunas ends up playing for the Grizzlies, you can definitely take him because they are up against the Suns and Moose has been great for Memphis since the trade. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
