High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,250

Kevin Durant (vs CHA – $9,100): Needs 41.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 53.5 fantasy points against Minnesota. Durant has been over 50 fantasy points in his last two games and you more or less know what you’re going to get from him. He gets his numbers because he’s a great player on a great team and the ceiling is high with his scoring and overall offensive talent. And he’s up against the Hornets. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

DeMar DeRozan (vs SAC – $8,000): Needs 37 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.5 fantasy points against Cleveland. DeRozan has been over 40 fantasy points in his last two games and has been playing well overall for the Spurs. I like his game right now and he gets to go up against the Kings, which is an easy matchup. If nothing else, he’ll get you value in this game. But he may not get the minutes if the Kings aren’t into things after Saturday’s disappointment. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Buddy Hield (at SA – $7,200): Needs 33.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.75 fantasy points against Houston. Hield is playing around value right now, which is a positive sign. But as I’ve been saying with the Kings, I don’t know what you’re going to get from them in this game. You can’t exactly quantify a teams mindset after they have been eliminated from playoff contention and have nothing to play for the next day. And it’s not exactly the best matchup in the world. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
