High Value SF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Rudy Gay (vs SAC – $5,600): Needs 25.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24 fantasy points against Cleveland. Gay has been down in the last three games, failing to crack 25 fantasy points in three of his last four. But it’s a great matchup for him and his salary isn’t that bad. If nothing else, he should get you vale in this game. The Kings are always easy pickings, especially given the circumstances. His ceiling might be lowered due to a lack of minutes. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.

Bruno Caboclo (at LAC – $5,300): Needs 24.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.5 fantasy points against Phoenix. As long as the minutes are still there for Bruno, he’ll keep producing. His salary has jumped but the Clippers don’t offer much in terms of defense and Bruno is playing fairly well right now. It’s tough to trust an unproven and inconsistent player but the ceiling is high. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

Landry Shamet (vs MEM – $3,900): Needs 18 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23.5 fantasy points against Cleveland. Shamet remains at a good salary given his usual minute and opportunities. And with Gallinari out of the lineup, Shamet will continue to see more shots. He never lack for shots, it’s just a matter of him knocking down the shots. The Grizzlies can make things a slog, but Shamet is in a good position. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
