High Value C

Players costing $6,250 or under

Marc Gasol (vs ORL – $6,000): Needs 28.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 39 fantasy points against Chicago. Gasol is a mixed bag because you don’t know if his minutes are going to be there and he just hasn’t been consistent for the Raptors. But I do love this matchup for him. And he did have 29.75 fantasy points in 24 minutes against the Magic on Feb. 24. The ceiling is high but he’s not the most reliable option on Monday. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

Jarrett Allen (vs MIL – $5,100): Needs 24.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.25 fantasy points against Boston. Allen’s minutes can be all over the place but they should be there against the Bucks. Especially if the Bucks are going to play a bench roster and not give full effort because of it. Allen had 30.25 fantasy points against the Bucks on Feb. 4 and should in for another strong night given the circumstances. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Luke Kornet (at CHI- $4,100): Needs 19.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 45.5 fantasy points against Miami. Kornet drew the start in his last game and maybe that will continue in this game. But who knows with the Knicks. As long as the minutes are there, he should have no trouble producing given his salary and the matchup. It’s the Bulls. And the Knicks are the Knicks. Even if he starts, he may only play five minutes. But there are plenty of positive signs in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
