High Value C

Players costing $6,667 or under

Enes Kanter (at MIN – $6,400): Needs 28.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41 fantasy points against Detroit. Production is never a concern with Kanter. It’s always minutes. But he’s looking more comfortable as the starter in Portland, so the minutes should continue to be there for him in a big way. And the Timberwolves are a good matchup with their lack of defense. If he’s going to play 30 minutes or more, he’s going to deliver. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Jarrett Allen (vs MIL – $5,800): Needs 25.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.9 fantasy points against Boston. Allen can be a bit all over the place but the minutes are typically there for him and he’s at a good enough salary. And with the Bucks on a back-to-back. Allen should have an easier go of things, especially if the Bucks are sitting all their top players. He had 32.7 fantasy points against the Bucks on Feb. 4 if you’re looking for some confidence in him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Tristan Thompson (at PHO – $4,500): Needs 19.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25.5 fantasy points against LA Clippers. I don’t love Thompson but with Kevin Love potentially out of the lineup and Phoenix being the matchup, Thompson should continue to get enough minutes to produce at this salary. With no Kevin Love, someone has to pick up rebounds and he can get easy points, especially against the Phoenix defense. His a nice salary saver who should get you value if nothing else. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.
