FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – April 1, 2019
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,667
Ben Simmons (at DAL – $10,000): Needs 44 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 50.7 fantasy points against Minnesota. No Embiid for the next week and that means a lot more Ben Simmons. The matchup is good with the Mavericks being on a back-to-back and just not being a very good team. And with Embiid out, Simmons has to step up and do more. That’s exactly what you expect from him in this game and he should be around 50 fantasy points once again. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Kyrie Irving (vs MIA – $9,800): Needs 43.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 47.9 fantasy points against Indiana. Irving is typically good for his numbers and even though Miami can be a tough out and Boston has nothing to play for, he should still get his numbers in this game. He had 68.6 fantasy points against Miami on Jan. 21. I always like his game and now that it’s April, it’s time for him to flip the switch. Diagnosis:
Kyle Lowry (vs ORL – $6,900): Needs 30.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 39.4 fantasy points against Chicago. Lowry is always a bit of a mixed back and he might not even play the minutes to get you what you need. If it’s determined that Eric Bledsoe will start in this game, you can take him with confidence because the Bucks need any offense they can get. But if Bledsoe is on the bench, he may not got off. As for Lowry, he’ll get decent minutes and it’s a good matchup. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
