2. The Miz

It’s highly unusual for The Miz to enter a big match working as the babyface, but that’s exactly his situation coming into his WrestleMania clash with Shane McMahon. The crowd will certainly be behind Miz after the insults McMahon has hurled at his family in recent weeks.

It will be really interesting to see how Miz ends up working as the protagonist. It’s very likely he’ll come out with guns blazing in an effort to show his hatred of Shane-O-Mac. At some point, though, that’s going to give way. That’s the moment where Miz needs to take his game to the next level and steal the show.

If he can find a way to show weakness that gets the crowd behind him even more, it’s possible he will emerge as one of the top faces in the company. His WrestleMania performance is what will likely chart his future and determine whether he grows into one of the darlings of the company or goes back to the heel role WWE officials know he can execute well.

If this is the match that cements him as a face, The Miz will have stolen WrestleMania. The mere fact that he has a chance to do that in 2019 is a testament to all the hard work he’s put in since his debut.
