3. Brian Cage vs. Masato Tanaka (WrestleCon’s U.S. vs The World, Friday, April 5)

The theme of American wrestlers facing off with international wrestlers will give us an appealing card on the Friday morning of WrestleMania week. Anyone able to attend this show at 11AM EST will get treated to a must-see main event between Impact star Brian Cage and Japanese wrestling legend Masato Tanaka.

Cage is among the top performers on the independent wrestling circuit in addition to his Impact role. WrestleCon decided to utilize his rising name in a dream match with the former ECW star Tanaka. The rare appearance of Tanaka for a show in the United States adds even more of a priority to seek this match out live or on the IPPV. Expect Cage and Tanaka to exchange hard hits and leave it all in the ring on an early Friday afternoon.

2. Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi (NJPW/ROH G1 Supercard, Saturday, April 6)

Fans upset about controversial choices for the world title matches at the G1 Supercard were pleased with the card itself when other main event-worthy matches were revealed. The bout between Zack Sabre Jr. and Hiroshi Tanahashi for the RevPro British Heavyweight Championship is appealing enough to main-event any non-WWE show in the world, but the Madison Square Garden atmosphere adds even more to it.

Tanahashi’s recent Wrestle Kingdom main event win over Kenny Omega proved he could still perform as well as anyone in the world at his best, even in his older age. Meanwhile, Sabre continues to build to his rising legacy as the top technical wrestler going today. Both wrestlers are bona fide superstars in New Japan and they should easily put on a technical masterpiece on the historic show.
