2. Lashley and Lio are going to break up

Lio Rush has very possibly saved Lashley from WWE obscurity with his introduction as the big man’s mouth piece. However, the real money here is for Rush and Lashley to tangle in a high-profile breakup of their own.

It’s unlikely that the WWE is going to turn either man at WrestleMania, but it should start brewing soon after the big show. The company teased the breakup when Rush cost Lashley his chance at the belt, but they didn’t commit to the change. Soon, they’ll put these two in conflict with one another again.

That’s an easier plan to execute if Lashley is brooding after a disappointing loss to Balor at WrestleMania. An easy way to start this conflict would be for Rush to continue to try to push and prod his big man until Lashley finally breaks and attacks him.

Rush has been on the sidelines for most of the in-ring action between Balor and Lashley, but look for his physical involvement to increase significantly in the near future. His ultimate home may lie in the cruiserweight division, but a program against Lashley could build up his reputation before making that jump.
