WrestleMania, or rather, #Kofimania is this Sunday. While most of the matches are too close to call, the WWE Championship is almost guaranteed to change hands. Here are five reasons why.

1.  Kofi’s on fire

Keeping it kayfabe, since he was inserted into the title picture as the replacement in the Elimination Chamber for formally forenamed Mustafa Ali on the February 12 edition of SmackDown Live, Kofi Kingston has been like a create-a-wrestler with maxed out attributes. He’s pinned Daniel Bryan and Samoa Joe in the same night, outlasted four other Superstars in the Elimination Chamber and topped five of the top performers on SmackDown consecutively in a gauntlet match.

Now, admittedly Kingston did lose all those matches, but that’s only because he can’t catch a fair fight. In every match he’s had in the main event scene, the cards have been stacked insurmountably against him (mostly by Vince McMahon), and yet, time-and–time again he nearly prevails despite it all, doing so fair and forthright like the true babyface he is. As a matter of fact, in the only match Kingston has had where the odds were even, he pinned Bryan in a three-on-three tag.

Every time he gets in the ring lately, Kingston regularly defeats multiple title contenders; a one-on-one match shouldn’t be a question. The way Kingston’s been performing, he shouldn’t just beat Bryan, but arguably squash him.
