2. Daniel Bryan and Rowan don’t have the best WrestleMania history

Yes, Daniel Bryan is one of the best wrestlers on the planet and the reigning WWE Champion, besting some truly talented wrestlers to sustain his reign, however, at WrestleMania, both he and his bearded bodyguard don’t exactly have an unblemished record. Bryan and Rowan hold two of the of the three quickest losses in WrestleMania history

At WrestleMania 28, then-World Heavyweight Champion Bryan lost to Sheamus in 18 seconds.  Bryan’s had some incredible ‘Mania moments, most notably WrestleMania 30 where he became WWE Champion by defeating Randy Orton, Batista and Triple H in the same night, however, all of those came as the underdog. The last time Bryan entered ‘Mania as a single’s champ, he was looking up at the lights before most folks, Bryan included, had realized the match had started.

While Bryan’s infamous WrestleMania loss is inarguably awful, his 18 seconds looks like a marathon when compared to his bludgeoning buddy, Rowan. Rowan, then a member of the Wyatt Family and allowed a given name (Erick), lost to The Rock in an impromptu showdown at WrestleMania 32 in six seconds. People ride literal bulls for longer than Rowan could hang with The Brahma Bull.

Bryan and Rowan are impressive superstars, strong, quick and sharp with impressive histories. However, when the lights shine brightest and all eyes are focused on them, the sustainability squad hasn’t always done their best work. One Brogue Kick, One Rock Bottom, One Trouble in Paradise is all it takes.
