High Value C

Players costing $6,250 or under

Steven Adams (vs LAL – $6,100): Needs 29.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 47.25 fantasy points against Dallas. Adams has been over 47 fantasy points in two of his last three games. The minutes and opportunities are always there for him and he does have a high ceiling, especially if the Thunder are going to keep featuring him. But there’s always a risk that the Thunder stop featuring him because that’s totally a Thunder thing. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Alex Len (at SA – $5,100): Needs 24.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – fantasy 30.5 points against Milwaukee. I love Len in this game because with Collins and Dedmon out, Len will play all the minutes and he’s their strongest frontcourt option by a mile. He’s at a great salary and even though the matchup is tough because the Spurs are at home, the circumstances are lined up for Len to deliver in a big way. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Jakob Poeltl (vs ATL – $3,700): Needs 17.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 7.75 fantasy points against Sacramento. If Poeltl isn’t going to start, the minutes might not be there. But if he does start, then take it that the minutes will be there and take it that he’ll get you at least value, especially at this salary. It’s a great matchup and he had 28.25 fantasy points against the Hawks on Mar. 6. If he doesn’t start, he’s more of a risk. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
