High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

Trae Young (at SA – $8,300): Needs 40 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 48.25 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Young continues to play outstanding basketball here for the Hawks. The games don’t mean anything but he’s putting on a show and building plenty of confidence heading into next season. It’s a tough matchup as the Spurs are always tough at home. But I’m not doubting Young right now. He’s simply been too good since the break and with the Hawks shorthanded, he’ll have to continue to perform. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Chris Paul (at SAC – $7,100): Needs 34.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.5 fantasy points against Sacramento. Paul has been over 40 fantasy points in all three games against the Kings this season. This is just a great matchup for him because the Kings are typically a great matchup for any player with top flight offensive skills. Maybe the Rockets finally rest some of their top guys. But maybe not. I certainly won’t believe it until I see it. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Rajon Rondo (at OKC – $6,600): Needs 31.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 56.75 fantasy points against New Orleans. Rondo has been over 50 fantasy points in his last two games. And with LeBron out of the lineup, it’ll up to Rondo to lead the offense. Someone has to get these numbers for the Lakers and Rondo is obviously the best option for them. And it’s not like you can trust the Thunder defense or team right now. Rondo should deliver big. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
