DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – April 2, 2019
High Value PG
Players costing $6,250 or under
Derrick White (vs ATL – $4,700): Needs 22.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 14.75 fantasy points against Sacramento. White has been under 20 fantasy points in three of his last four games. But his salary has dropped in a big way and this is a great matchup because the Hawks are always a great matchup. He had 50.5 fantasy points in 29 minutes against the Hawks on Mar. 6. The minutes and opportunities should be there for him and even though he’s not playing well, there’s reason to think he’ll be good in this matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Alex Caruso (at OKC – $4,600): Needs 21.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 44.75 fantasy points against New Orleans. Caruso’s minutes are a bit all over the place right now but he’s shown a high ceiling and once again, I don’t trust the Thunder for anything right now. Caruso is just the type of guy who is going to have a big game against them because their bench is not good. The ceiling is very high for him in this matchup. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
Monte Morris (at GS – $4,400): Needs 21.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 11 fantasy points against Washington. Morris has not played well in a good while but his salary has jumped with Jamal Murray possibly being out of the lineup. And if Murray is going to be out of the lineup, Morris should draw the start in this one. And if he draws the start, the ceiling will be higher as he’ll get more minutes and opportunities. He’s a risk, but starting would help his cause. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
