High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

James Harden (at SAC – $11,400): Needs 53.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 85.25 fantasy points against Sacramento. Will the Rockets finally manage Harden’s minutes? Who knows. If he’s going to keep playing over 35 minutes, he’ll deliver once again. But maybe, just maybe, his minutes will be down in this game. The matchup is certainly a very good one and even in limited minutes, he can probably carve up the Kings defense. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Stephen Curry (vs DEN – $9,000): Needs 42.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 48.25 fantasy points against Charlotte. You typically know what you’re getting out of Curry and this definitely feels like a game where the Warriors are going to try. They will want to make a statement against the Nuggets who are perceived as a “threat.” And when the Warriors try, there isn’t much stopping them. And Curry has been great more often than not this season. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Klay Thompson (vs DEN – $6,400): Needs 29.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.25 fantasy points against Charlotte. Don’t put too much stock into Thompson’s game against the Hornets as he played only 27 minutes. And his salary lowered, which certainly helps his cause on Tuesday. He had 58.75 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Mar. 8. And with the Warriors likely trying in this game, it’s shaping up to be a big night for Thompson. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
