DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – April 2, 2019
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,250
Paul George (vs LAL – $10,000): Needs 45.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 52.25 fantasy points against Dallas. George’s shooting remains all over the place but he still gets numbers in all categories and it’s the Lakers. But the Thunder offense is a mess right now largely because Paul George can’t shoot. The ceiling is always high for George as he can get hot at any moment. And it’s the Lakers. But there isn’t much to like about the Thunder right now. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
DeMar DeRozan (vs ATL – $8,000): Needs 36.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34 fantasy points against Sacramento. It’s a very good matchup for DeRozan but my concern in this game is that they don’t need DeRozan quite as much in this game. With the Hawks missing their top two frontcourt players, this should be a big night for LaMarcus Aldridge, meaning DeRozan might take a bit of a backseat in this one. But the ceiling is high given the matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Buddy Hield (vs HOU – $6,900): Needs 31.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 40.75 fantasy points against San Antonio. Hield is continuing to play well for the Kings. He had 34.75 fantasy points against the Rockets on Mar. 30 and it looks like the Kings will continue to give a strong effort. And the Rockets don’t have much a reason to try on defense, especially against this Kings defense. Hield should deliver once again. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
