High Value SF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Rudy Gay (vs ATL – $5,700): Needs 26 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.25 fantasy points against Sacramento. Gay can be a bit up-and-down but he’s got a great matchup in front of him and the minutes should be there for him. Maybe a blowout happens simply because the Spurs are really good at home. But Gay should get his scoring and rebounding numbers in this game, especially with the lineup the Hawks are putting out there at the moment. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Lance Stephenson (at OKC – $4,500): Needs 20.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 6 fantasy points against New Orleans. You never know what you’re going to get out of Lance in terms of production and minutes. But with LeBron out, hopefully he’ll get the minutes. And this just feels like a Lance Stephenson game given the state of the Thunder right now. Deandre’ Bembry has a high ceiling as well if you want to take another risk. It’s just a slow night with only four games. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

Justin Anderson (at SA – $4,400): Needs 20.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 50.5 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Anderson is drawing the start in Atlanta and making the most with his new minutes. At least he made the most of those minutes against the Bucks. Can he do it again against a team that won’t be playing nothing but bench guys? It remains to be seen. But he’s shown a high ceiling and the minutes will be there if he starts. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
