High Value C

Players costing $6,667 or under

Willie Cauley-Stein (vs HOU – $6,000): Needs 26.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.2 fantasy points against San Antonio. WCS has been down in the last two games but he’s getting minutes. The problem is, one of those games was against the Rockets on Mar. 30 when he had just 14.9 fantasy points. I don’t hate WCS in this game, but I’m not in love with him either. If the Rockets decide they are going to rest guys, he can have an easier time. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Alex Len (at SA – $5,300): Needs 23.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.2 fantasy points against Milwaukee. With Collins and Dedmon out of the lineup, it’ll be the Alex Len show on Tuesday. The matchup is tough as the Spurs are the Spurs but Len has proven that he can put up big numbers when given the minutes. And the minutes will certainly be there for him. I’m expecting a big performance out of Len based on the circumstances. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Jakob Poeltl (vs ATL – $4,700): Needs 20.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 8.6 fantasy points against Sacramento. Who knows what you’re getting out of Poeltl but if he starts, he should get the minutes. And it’s certainly a great matchup for him. He had 32.3 fantasy points in 21 minutes against the Hawks on Mar. 6. And with no Woolens and Dedmon, he should be in for another strong night. But if he doesn’t start, there’s no guarantee that the minutes will be there for him. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
