High Value PG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Derrick White (vs ATL – $6,200): Needs 27.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 14.1 fantasy points against Sacramento. White has been under 20 fantasy points in three of his last four games, which obviously isn’t good. But the Hawks are great matchup with their style of play and White still gets the minutes and opportunities. He’s not the most reliable option at the moment given his recent play and salary, but the ceiling is high with this matchup. He had 54.7 fantasy points in 29 minutes against the Hawks on Mar. 6 if you’re looking for some confidence. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

Alex Caruso (at OKC – $4,900): Needs 21.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 45.6 fantasy points against New Orleans. This is Alex Caruso’s team right now. Whether he’s coming off the bench or starting, the minutes are going to be there against a weak Thunder bench and if the minutes are there, he will produce in this one. I don’t trust the Thunder for anything right now and Alex Caruso is definitely a guy who can have a career game against them. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Bryn Forbes (vs ATL – $4,500): Needs 19.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23.1 fantasy points against Sacramento. If you don’t like White, you can always save some money and go with Forbes. He’s the more reliable option simply due to his lesser salary and he’s still getting similar minutes. The ceiling isn’t quite as high in this matchup, but it’s still a great matchup for him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
