High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (at OKC – $6,000): Needs 25.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22.2 fantasy points against New Orleans. KCP isn’t much a in terms of being a reliable player but he’s going to get the minutes on this Lakers team and he does have a high ceiling, especially against this matchup. Of course, even if the minutes and shots are there, he could always just miss shots. But it doesn’t seem like many teams are missing against the Thunder right now. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Bogdan Bogdanovic (vs HOU – $5,900): Needs 24.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.1 fantasy points against San Antonio. Bogdanovic has been playing well in recent contests, going over 28 fantasy points in four of his last five games. He had 45.8 fantasy points against the Rockets on Mar. 30. The Kings no longer have anything to play for but I like Bogdanovic’s game right now and he has a proven ceiling on a slow night. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Monte Morris (at GS – $3,900): Needs 16.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 12.5 fantasy points against Washington. Morris hasn’t delivered on much as of late even though he’s getting decent enough minutes. But in Jamal Murray doesn’t end up playing, Morris should see more minutes and possibly the starters role. If he starts, his value goes up. If Murray is out, his value goes up. If Murray plays, the ceiling is good but he’s not as reliable. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
