High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Will Barton (at GS – $5,100): Needs 20.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25.8 fantasy points against Washington. Barton can be all over the place but if Jamal Murray doesn’t play, he’ll have to step up in this game. Can he do it? It remains to be seen, especially if the Warriors are locked in. But the minutes and opportunities will be there for him if nothing else. He’s not all that reliable but the ceiling is high, especially if Murray is out. You can always spend less and try your luck with Gary Harris.Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Nemanja Bjelica (vs HOU – $4,800): Needs 19.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME -16.2 fantasy points against San Antonio. It’s a slow night, which is really the only reason Bjelica is on this list. You can always spend less and try your luck with Gary Harris or Lance Stephenson. It feels like a Lance Stephenson game against the Thunder given the way OKC is playing right now. But Bjelica typically gets the minutes (although they weren’t there last time against the Rockets) and his ceiling is relatively high. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

DeAndre’ Bembry (at SA – $4,300): Needs 17.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.7 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Bembry has been over 35 fantasy points in two of his last three games. So there’s that. The minutes aren’t exactly there but he’s making the most of the minutes he is getting. And he’s at a low enough salary to where he can overproduce in a big way. The minutes make him a concern and the matchup isn’t exactly great. But the ceiling is high and it’s not like there are many strong options on Tuesday. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
