High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Jerami Grant (vs LAL – $5,600): Needs 23.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21.6 fantasy points against Dallas. Grant has been up-and-down in recent games but the minutes and opportunities are always there for him. And it’s the Lakers. I know the Thunder are not playing very well right now. But it’s the Lakers. At some point, the Thunder have to be better, right? Eh, probably not. It’s a slow night and at least Grant gets the minutes. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

PJ Tucker (at SAC – $4,100): Needs 17.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 14.4 fantasy points against Sacramento. Tucker has been down in a big way as of late and even though I like this matchup for Tucker, he’s just not the most reliable option right now. But the minutes and opportunities are there for him if nothing else. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.

Johnathan Williams (at OKC – $4,000): Needs 17 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 4.4 fantasy points against New Orleans. I don’t know what a Johnathan Williams is. You can always try your luck with Jonas Jerebko or maybe Markieff Morris. But who knows what you’re getting out of any of these lower salary guys. Williams has the Thunder, so at least there’s that. And no one makes no name players look like future Hall of Famers like The Thunder. So there’s that. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with the ceiling being the roof.
