Drew Lock. 10. player. 45. . Quarterback. Missouri

The Denver Broncos brought in Joe Flacco via a trade with the Baltimore Ravens this offseason, and there is no doubt that he will be the starting quarterback for the team to kick off 2019. In addition, they traded away 2018 starter Case Keenum to the Washington Redskins, clearing the way for it to be Flacco’s show this season.

It seems like decades ago that Flacco went on that magical run through the playoffs, leading the Ravens to a Super Bowl title, and winning the game’s MVP award. However, as he heads to Denver for year one, there is a lot of questions as to where he stands in terms of his career, and the hope is that a fresh start helps.

Even with Flacco in the fold, Denver needs to bring in their future at the position, and it seems like John Elway really likes Drew Lock from Missouri. Lock has been our pick for this team over the past month, and he makes a lot of sense, as he got better every year for the  Tigers, playing in the toughest conference in college football.

Denver saw some incredibly talented young weapons step up big time in 2018, as Phillip Lindsay and Courtland Sutton are going to be stars in this league. They now need their long-term solution at quarterback, and while it is certainly Flacco’s show in 2019, you can believe that Elway is clamoring for his next franchise guy.
