2019 NFL mock draft: Kyler Murray heads to Cardinals at No. 1
By Brad Weiss
The Seattle Seahawks surprised some people by making it to the playoffs as a Wild Card team, as many left them for dead to start the season. However, quarterback Russell Wilson is one of the better players in the game at his position, and anytime you have him lining up under center for your team, you are going to be in good shape.
Looking at this roster heading into next season, there is no reason why they will not be very involved in the playoff picture once again. Their defense, though not having a ton of stars last season, was outstanding down the stretch, and they did bring back elite edge rusher Frank Clark for 2019.
One area where the Seahawks could look to improve in the 2019 NFL Draft is up front along the offensive line, where they currently have a lack of depth. Garrett Bradbury is a guy who could fit in nicely up front for Seattle, as they look to keep Wilson upright, and he could be used as a center behind Justin Britt, as well as starting at one of the guard spots.
Seattle plays in a division that is very winnable next season, as they should be able to compete with the likes of the Los Angeles Rams for the top spot. Wilson is the best quarterback in the NFC West, and if they continue to add pieces to their offensive line, it is only going to help him, and their top-ranked rushing attack moving forward.
