Offensive Tackle. Washington State. Andre Dillard. 25. player. 54.

For weeks, we have been stating that the Philadelphia Eagles need to add a running back this offseason, whether in free agency, or via the 2019 NFL Draft. Well, it looks like we were wrong, as the Eagles did add a running back, but Jordan Howard was brought in via a trade with the Chicago Bears.

All kidding aside, Howard is a tremendous addition to an Eagles offense that was already loaded at the skill positions. He brings an incredible skill set to the position, and the Eagles need that kind of player, after finishing as one of the worst running offenses in football this past season.

When you look at their needs in the 2019 NFL Draft, they could certainly add a safety, but if Andre Dillard is still available at No. 25, you have to grab him. Jason Peters did sign on for one more season in Philly, but his career is coming to an end, and Dillard could pick up the starting left tackle position once he retired.

Philadelphia will be without Nick Foles this season, so it will be interesting to see if Carson Wentz can get it done in the biggest of games in 2019. He is a guy who has proven to be a legitimate starting quarterback in this league, but Foles has bailed this team out the last two season, and will be a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars moving forward.
