3. Continuity

Chemistry is one of those things that analysts give a lot of lip service to despite it not really being a quantifiable thing. Instead, it’s one of those qualities that you can identify when you see even if it’s a struggle to put a finger on what it actually entails. But any way you look at it, this Warriors team has it. While they may sometimes struggle to allocate shots for both Curry and Durant, creating a slight awkwardness that occasionally devolves into a your-turn, my-turn sort of offense, at their best, the Warriors offense is as seamless as any in the league.

A major part of this is due to the fact that much of their core has now played together for many years. Curry, Thompson, Green, Andre Iguodala, and Shaun Livingston have all been around since the Warriors’ 2015 title run while Durant and Kevon Looney are in their third and fourth seasons with the team, respectively. This is a roster full of players that know the quirks and desires of their teammates and how to maximize each other’s abilities. While other teams may still be trying to integrate new acquisitions, figuring out how to best work together, the Warriors will have no such concern.
