High Value PG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Tyus Jones (at DAL – $5,800): Needs 28.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 39.25 fantasy points against Portland. Jones can be a bit all over the place but he’s going to continue to get the minutes and opportunities with the state of the Timberwolves. It’s a meaningless game for these two teams so the offense should be rolling. The circumstances remain very good for Jones. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Reggie Jackson (vs IND – $5,600): Needs 26.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33 fantasy points against Indiana. With Blake Griffin out of the lineup, Jackson should continue to see more offensive opportunities. He’s coming off a strong game against the Pacers but really this is all about the circumstances. If Griffin is back in the lineup this his value takes a hit. His ceiling is still high but he’s an inconsistent option. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Trey Burke (vs MIN – $4,900): Needs 23.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Burke is getting the minutes for the Mavericks with Luka and Hardaway Jr out of the lineup. As long as those two are still out, Burke should continue to get the minutes and opportunities. And he’s at a great salary given those minutes and his recent production. Take with confidence if the injuries line up in his favor once again. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
