High Value PF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Jonah Bolden (at ATL – $5,000): Needs 23.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 13.75 fantasy points against Dallas. Bolden wasn’t good against the Mavericks but I’m not concerned about him in this game. The minutes are there with Embiid sitting out and he’s up against the Hawks. Everyone gets numbers against the Hawks. Expect a big bounce-back performance from Bolden in this game as he becomes the latest player to put up numbers against the Hawks. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Jakarr Sampson (at WAS – $4,800): Needs 21.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.75 fantasy points against New York. Add Jakarr Sampson to the list of random guys who are going to play well at the end of the season. It was his first game on Apr. 1 against the Knicks and he delivered in a big way. I don’t know if he can do it again because the end of the season is weird. But the matchup is a great one if nothing else. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

Luke Kornet (at ORL – $4,700): Needs 22.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.5 fantasy points against Chicago. As long as Kornet is still starting, you can still take him with confidence. Someone has to get these numbers for the Knicks and Kornet has proven that he can put up big numbers when given the minutes. The minutes aren’t always there because the Knicks are weird but if he starts, I assume it means the minutes will be there. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
