Players costing $6,667 or under

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (vs LAL – $6,400): Needs 28.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.8 fantasy points against Houston. SAG has been over 30 fantasy points in four straight games. He’s playing excellent right now and he’s up against the Lakers on Friday. Who doesn’t put up numbers against the Lakers? SAG should be in for another strong night given the matchup and his recent play. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Tyus Jones (vs MIA – $5,800): Needs 25.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25.2 fantasy points against Dallas. Jones can be a bit all over the place if the minutes aren’t there but the minutes should be there in this game. And we know he has a high ceiling. With Miami missing all of their guards and Jones’ typical effort, he should get his numbers in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Michael Carter-Williams (vs ATL – $4,300): Needs 19 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.2 fantasy points against New York. MCW is playing well and sure, why not. He’s getting good minutes to spell Augustin and this is a great matchup for him because the Hawks will always lend opponents plenty of fantasy points. He’s tough to trust because he’s MCW but he’s at a great salary given recent production. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
