High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Bobby Portis (vs SA – $6,500): Needs 27.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 44.5 fantasy points against Chicago. With Jabari Parker out of the lineup, Portis should see more minutes and opportunities. He’s an up-and-down player but the circumstances are good for him on Friday. The Spurs are a tough matchup, but less tough on the road. Again, this is largely about the circumstances with Parker’s injury. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Josh Jackson (vs NO – $5,800): Needs 24.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22.3 fantasy points against Utah. Everything I said about Bridges pretty much applies to Jackson. With Booker out of the lineup, someone has to step up. And Jackson has proven that he can step up in the past. He did have 55 fantasy points two games ago against the Cavaliers. And the Pelicans aren’t exactly a good team. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Jerami Grant (vs DET – $5,400): Needs 22.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.5 fantasy points against LA Lakers. Grant can be all over the place but one thing that rarely changes with him is his minutes and opportunities. He’s shown to have a high ceiling and the Pistons are a good matchup, especially if Griffin is out of the lineup. If Westbrook decides to be in pass mode again, Grant is one of his most reliable options. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
