$8,000-8,999

Hideki Matsuyama ($8,700): My favorite play of anyone this week. He comes in with great form, where he is second in SG:T2G, second in SG:BS, ninth in SG:ARG and first in SG:APP in the last 24 rounds of players in the field. He also has great course history with his last four starts here resulting in finishes inside the top 20. You just have to hope that he gets hot with the putter or at least doesn’t miss every five footer like normal and he could easily win this thing.

Xander Schauffele ($8,500): Schauffele is a big game hunter and has always traditionally performed the best when the stakes are the highest. He has two wins and two second place finishes since last year’s Masters. He only has one start here in the last four years where he finished a lackluster T50. Seeing this for the second time should definitely be an advantage for him.

Jordan Spieth/Bubba Watson ($8,900/$8,800): I cannot decide what to do with these two players. Both players have a great course history and should garner some ownership. Spieth comes in with awful form and is spraying it all over the place off the tee. Watson is coming in good form. He is top 10 SG:T2G and SG:BS and first in the field in driving distance in the last 24 rounds for players in this field. I will not play both of these guys, but will keep a close eye on ownership projections to make a final decision. At this time, I would choose Spieth over Watson, however, because I am a gluten for punishment.
