WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match (Fatal Four-Way)

Sasha Banks & Bayley (c) vs. Nia Jax & Tamina vs. The IIconics vs. Natalya & Beth Phoenix

For the first time in WrestleMania history, the Women’s Tag Team Championship will be on the line as the Boss N’ Hug Connection of Bayley and Sasha Banks will take on Nia Jax and Tamina, The IIconics and Natalya and Beth Phoenix in a fatal four-way match. The IIconics seems a little out of place here, but good for them for getting themselves into this match. While Banks and Bayley are the champs, the real draw Phoenix, who looked wonderful in her return on Monday Night Raw this past week. She’s also made a couple of battle royal appearances over the past couple of years but actual matches are something different and there didn’t seem to be any ring rust on the former champion on Monday. She and Natalya make a great team and they’re a wonderful addition to this storyline.

Prediction: While the Phoenix-Natalya win would be fun, I’m sticking with the champs here. They’re both healthy for the first time in a while and they’re plenty over with the crowd and there’s just really no other logical choice. Jax had her big moment last year with her title win over Alexa Bliss and she and Tamina just haven’t looked great in recent matches. The IIconics will get a run with the titles at some point, but it’s just not going to be now.

SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match (Fatal Four-Way)

The Usos (c) vs. The Bar vs. Shinsuke Nakamura & Rusev vs. Ricochet & Aleister Black

A late addition to the WrestleMania card, it was announced on the go-home episode of SmackDown Live by host Alexa Bliss that The Usos would be defending the SmackDown Tag Team Championship in a fatal four-way match against The Bar, Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev and the duo of Aleister Black and Ricochet, who in the span of six days will have challenged for the SmackDownRaw and NXT tag titles. How crazy would it be for them to walk into WrestleMania with the NXT straps? This is the second consecutive year that The Usos have had to defend the titles in a multi-team match after facing The New Day and The Bludgeon Brothers a year ago. Harper and Rowan won that in a glorified squash. We’ll see a longer match this time around. With the teams involved, this could be really entertaining.

Prediction: I kept waiting to see how Ricochet and Aleister Black were going to find their way onto the card as they’ve obviously been the highlight of the tag division in recent months. Numerous crazy spots could be in store for this one, given the talent and numbers involved. Black and Ricochet will become the first team to hold both NXT and main-roster titles simultaneously.
