DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – April 6, 2019
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,250
Giannis Antetokounmpo (vs BKN – $11,400): Needs 51.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 83.25 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Giannis probably won’t play big minutes in this game, but as always, he can put up big numbers in limited minutes. He had 48.75 fantasy points in 30 minutes against the Nets on April 1. He might fall just short of 50 fantasy points again but he’s also Giannis. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Ben Simmons (at CHI – $9,000): Needs 42.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.5 fantasy points against Milwaukee. With Embiid potentially out of the lineup, more responsibility falls on Simmons. And he should have no issue getting his numbers in this game because he’s up against the Bulls. Expect a bounce back performance from Simmons in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
High Value SF
Players costing $6,250 or under
Joe Harris (at MIL – $5,100): Needs 23.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 20.25 fantasy points against Toronto. Harris was down against the Raptors but he had been playing well and the minutes and opportunities are always there for him. He had 30.5 fantasy points against the Bucks on April 1. Look for him to bounce back and at least get you value. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Pat Connaughton (vs BKN – $4,900): Needs 22.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 14 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Connaughton was down against the Sixers but don’t be too alarmed. He’s still getting the minutes to produce and the Nets are a good matchup. He had 32.25 fantasy points against them on April 1. And the better news is that he remains at a very good salary given his usual minutes. He’ll bounce back. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
