High Value PG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Ian Clark (at SAC – $4,900): Needs 23.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.5 fantasy points against Phoenix. Someone has to get numbers for the Pelicans backcourt and Clark has been getting the minutes, if nothing else. And this is a great matchup for him. He didn’t play well last time out against the Kings but I’m not worried about him given the state of the Kings. He’ll bounce back with a strong performance in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Jamal Crawford (at HOU – $4,600): Needs 21.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 47.5 fantasy points against New Orleans. Jamal Crawford is either making one last stand or trying to prove that he can still play into another season. Either way, the minutes are there for him right now and he’s just playing great. Forget about Devin Booker, it’s time for J Smooth to shine. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Monte Morris (at POR – $4,300): Needs 20.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 13 fantasy points against Portland. With Jamal Murray out, I’m going to assume that Morris will be the guy who gets the minutes and the start. If it’s someone else, grab the guy who starts. Maybe take a chance on Isaiah Thomas? The Nuggets offense is going to run fine against the Blazers defense and someone has to get numbers. All the Nuggets. Guards are at great salaries as well. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
