High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,250

Julius Randle (at SAC – $8,700): Needs 41 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 52 fantasy points against Phoenix. As long as the minutes are there for Randle, the production should be there without an issue. He’s up against the Kings, which certainly helps. He had 53.75 fantasy against the Kings on Mar. 28. The Kings are always a great matchup and the only real concern is the minutes in this game. But I suspect he will get them. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Aaron Gordon (at BOS – $7,500): Needs 34.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.75 fantasy points against Atlanta. Gordon can still be all over the place but I’m not exactly feeling Boston right now and do like the Magic heading into the playoffs. I also like the way Gordon has been playing down the stretch for them and maybe he’s finally becoming a more consistent player. This is more of a hunch than anything but there is some merit given Gordon’s play down the stretch. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Bobby Portis (at NY – $6,800): Needs 32.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.75 fantasy points against San Antonio. Portis can be all over the place but there is certainly reason to believe that he will deliver in this matchup. Mainly because it’s the Knicks. And what it really comes down to for Portis is minutes. The minutes should be there in this game. And did I mention that he’s up against the Knicks? Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
