High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Gordon Hayward (vs ORL – $5,800): Needs 24 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.8 fantasy points against Indiana. Hayward is starting to look like himself again and that’s great news for all parties involved. It’s always possible that he ends up falling off because we’ve seen these strong stretches from him before. But he’s got a very good matchup against the Magic and the Celtics will have to start picking things up heading into the playoffs. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Kenrich Williams (at SAC – $5,300): Needs 21.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25.8 fantasy points against Phoenix. Williams is getting strong minutes right now and he’s performing up to his salary. He had 21.5 fantasy points against the Kings on Mar. 28, which would be good enough for value. But he needs to do a bit more. I still like this matchup and the offense should be up on both sides for these two teams. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Troy Brown Jr (at NY – $4,500): Needs 18.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25.3 fantasy points against San Antonio. Brown has been over 25 fantasy points in three of his last four games. He’s getting strong minutes for the Wizards as they have no reason to play their top guys extended minutes and Brown is a guy who. Has benefitted. And he’s up against the Knicks. As long as the minutes are there, he’s at a great salary given the matchup and minutes. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
