Players costing $6,667 or under

Bobby Portis (at NY – $6,500): Needs 27.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.8 fantasy points against San Antonio. Portis can be all over the place but he’s got a couple of things working in his favor in this game. First, the minutes and opportunities are there in a big way because the Wizards are just the Wizards. More importantly, they are up against the Knicks. He should easily get his numbers against the Knicks. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Al-Farouq Aminu (vs DEN – $5,000): Needs 21.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 40.3 fantasy points against Denver. Aminu was up in a big way against the Nuggets and even though he was down in the games prior to that, this appears to be his matchup. He’s averaging 33.5 fantasy points in three games against the Nuggets this season. Even though a guy like Harkless might be more reliable on a nightly basis, this is Aminu’s matchup. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Dragan Bender (at HOU – $5,000): Needs 21.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 52 fantasy points against New Orleans. Bender is coming off a monster game against the Pelicans and he’s been playing very well as of late, going over 25 fantasy points in four of his last five games. The Rockets don’t have much reason to give effort and Bender is at very good salary given his minutes and opportunities. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
