Kyle Guy has an amazing skill set

This is no huge secret for anyone who follows college basketball. It’s something we have to touch on before we move forward, though. Kyle Guy is perhaps the most valuable player in the whole tournament besides Zion Williamson of Duke. Which is saying a lot for this very talented and much-needed backbone of the Virginia Cavaliers.

Throughout the entire 2019 campaign, Guy has averaged a little over 15 points per game. Which is roughly a little less than a quarter of the total points averaged by the Cavaliers in each game this season. His on-court presence and leadership abilities are overlooked at times by his big shot capabilities. Guy has ice in his veins.

He’s exactly the type of player you want on your team when the game is on the line. As we saw against the Auburn Tigers when he hit all three free shows to win the game for the Cavaliers. The call was controversial but Guy still made the shots with everything on the line.

His 78 assists and 168 rebounds on the year have proven to be very helpful along with his 562 total points. Guy hasn’t averaged the best per game in the tournament but when all has been on the line he has stepped up in a big way for his ball club. All Virginia has to do is feed this guy the rock throughout the game and keep him clean and they’ll be taking home their first ever National Championship.
