1.9Kelvin Harmon, WR – Harmon is just a complete receiver, and he pops off the screen when you watch his tape. His combine numbers may appear average (although 4.6 at 221 pounds is still fast enough), but this player knows how to play the position. He has great footwork, is great at going and getting the ball, and has excellent hands.

1.10Damien Harris, RB – On tape I found Harris more impressive than David Montgomery in many ways. They are right together for me on value, and I might mix up which one I take first across my leagues. Harris is explosive, typically hitting the hole hard and fast. And his choice is usually correct due to his excellent vision. He is also a good blocker and has good hands catching the ball. If he lands in a good spot, he could become a fantasy stud quickly.

1.11Noah Fant, TE – Fant will instantly become one of the most athletic tight ends to ever play in the NFL on the day he is drafted. He ran a 4.5 40-yard dash (a bit faster than fellow Iowa alum George Kittle), did 20 bench reps, and had a 39.5″ vertical! And all at 6-foot-4, 250 pounds! On top of that, he has great hands and is a capable route runner. He is not a great blocker, but will be drafted to be a move tight end and won’t be asked to do much in-line blocking.

1.12Irv Smith, Jr., TE – Smith and Fant are very close, and this ranking may swap based on landing spot. Smith is actually a combination of the two Iowa tight ends – he offers good blocking like Hockenson and good athleticism like Fant, though he is not to the level of either one in those areas. He is a smaller tight end prospect at 6-foot-2, which I think limits his high end a bit. But he can do everything well, and if he lands in a great spot could become very productive early on.

So to recap, our first round had six wide receivers, three running backs, and three tight ends. For the second and third rounds, I will keep my explanations more brief, as getting the first round right is the most important part of dynasty rookie drafts.
