3. Greg Little

The Packers don’t need to draft a tackle to play right away in 2019, but it might be smart for them to groom someone to take over for Bryan Bulaga in 2020. Little would give them a very talented, but very raw tackle to work with all season long.

It’s easy to forget that Little was viewed by many scouts as a potential top 10 pick coming into the season. He’s got every athletic trait you want to see from a left tackle in the NFL. His size, quickness and strength can all jump off the screen when you watch him on tape.

Unfortunately, Little doesn’t use any of his gifts on a consistent basis. His technique is an absolute mess at times. He doesn’t seem to understand how to use his power to push opposing defenders off the line of scrimmage. There are plenty of good reasons why he isn’t projected to go in Round 1 any longer.

That doesn’t mean Little’s a lost cause. Tackles with his athletic abilities can’t often be found on Day 2 or Day 3. If Green Bay is willing to be patient with Little, he could turn out to be a big player for them in the future.
