1. They can beat you on either side of the ball

In addition to their league-leading defense, the Bucks also have the NBA’s fourth-best offense, making them the only team in the league to land in the top five in both categories, which allows them to outscore opponents by an absurd nine points per 100 possessions — easily the best mark in the league.

If they’re having an off night shooting the ball, they can rely on their defensive acumen to pull out a victory. And if the opposition is shooting lights out themselves, then the Bucks can usually outscore them anyway. NBA champions are rarely great on just one side of the ball, and no team in the league is better on both than Milwaukee has been this year, making them look like as much of a threat to the Warriors’ hegemony as anyone.
